it wasn't as clean as I would've liked; only the floor was dirty, however, and it was mostly dead bugs... looked like the main area and bedroom hadn't been mopped.

Great location and basic rooms. Good place to stay away from the trafic and people in Florence but I've stayed in better in the area. I would however use them again.

We were very pleased with the accomodation on the whole. Two points which were a bit frustrating.
1. Only one socket point near the kitchen sink which had to be shared between the kettle and the microwave.
2. Seating in the living room was a sofa-bed which was very uncomfortable.

We got a 10 percent reduction which was mentioned in their own website but not on Tuscany.net They honoured it when I pointed it out. Italy on the whole is very expensive for accomodation especially when only 2 people are involved.

In their FAQ section they mention that the nearest train station is 9 kilometres away but in fact was only 2 away. I pointed this out so maybe it has been corrected.

First class, it was a very good choice and I would certainly recommend it. Location was great as we took the train into Florence several times. Mind you the traffic in Italy would make me think twice about returning with a car.

This villa is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees, looking over the Valambrosa. It's a very relaxing place to stay, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

On the website we read about a tour of the wineyard and winetasting every Monday. But that was only during high season. We also thought there was a restaurant according to the site, but must have misunderstood. Anyhow, we had fantastic meals prepared on 'our own' grill just outside the house!

No problems at all! We could even pay and prepare everything the day before checking out, leaving the key inside the house if we wished.

Maybe some more information about Rignano and other surroundings. Anyhow I will check the site again to see if I can think of more.

As I already have done to a whole lot; We stayed on a Wineyard in the countryside, but still didnīt feel off! The surroundings were beautiful and it is a very central spot if you want to drive around Nortern Italy as we did. The houses are wonderfully redecorated with the old wood open to see in the roof. A private grill just outside our house and the pool maybe 10 meters away.
An absolute paradise for both grown ups and children. We will definitly try to go back!

We arrive very late in the evening but all the instructions for our accomodations werw very clear. the next morning the re3ceptionnist was very helpfull and we were very please by all the facilities.

the place was like a post card of tuscany. The accomodations was perfect and the site was near many interestings cities of Italy. We reccomend this place to everybody who want to stay in a quiet place.

Although we had an enjoyable stay, we have 2 comments:-
1)At the enquiry stage we were specific about the dates.Swimming pools were listed as facilities.However these were in fact closed for the season.
2)One of the guests rooms had many insects that was a problem.

Make it very clear when swimming pools are available.
It is a quite (no noise)and restful place to stay yet close to the train station and motorways.
Maybe say something about nearby places such as Valombrosia etc(we foreigners only here about the bigger towns)

Ideally situated for touring and discovering the charms and delights of Tuscany.

If you are sure you want the 'farm-house' experience, Fattoria Pagnana is a good choice. The people are very accomodating and do their utmost to ensure a pleasurable stay.
