We arrived after dark and a day late due to security issues at Heathrow. We had concert tickets in Arezo that evening and were running quite late. They were nice enough to pack up some fruit in order to sustain us for our ride over to Arezzo.

A beautiful and private setting. The pool area is quite serene. We did not want to leave.

Since we missed a day due to circumstances beyond our control, they were kind enough to offer us another day at the back end of our stay. Since we were booked at another villa, they were kind enough to deduct the charge from our bill.

Wonderful fresh baked breads for breakfast. The coffee was great and wonderful fresh fruits.

A perfect place for those who want a base for exploring this region of Tuscany. We felt that we were coming home every night.

This is a lovely property. Each room is uniquely and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was outstanding as was the room it was served in. However, this description does not do justice to the willing, gracious and knowledgeable hosts, Mara and Terenzio. Ortaglia is an obvious beneficiary of their good spirits and expertise to the benefit of every guest.

Both the house and the grounds are beautiful and luxurious. Our host was warm and welcoming and made us feel as though we were invited guests in his home.

Our week at Podere Ortaglia was very pleasant. The owner was extremely nice and gave us each day very helpful advice where to go and what to see. This made us discover places we would otherwise not have seen.
The breakfast was gorgious !

Very convenient to all the beautiful villages in southern tuscany and Siena. A very friendly family-run upscale villa. Torenzio and his wife were so welcoming and warm. We will definitely make plans to stay at Podere Ortaglia during our next visit to Tuscany.
