By Car:
Montepulciano is in the southern part of the Province of Siena at 40 miles from Siena and at only a few miles from the province of Arezzo and from the Umbria region.
If you drive on the A1 ( Autostrada del Sole ) and you come:
From NORTH:
take the exit no. 28 - BETTOLLE/VALDICHIANA
From SOUTH:
take the exit no. 29 - CHIUSI/CHIANCIANO TERME
From the crossway of the Dome of San Biagio, you must proceed in the direction of Pienza ( S.S. 146 ) for 700 meters ( half mile ) and on your left you will see the signs that will bring you to ORTAGLIA.
By Rail:
On the line Firenze-Roma exit at the railroad station of CHIUSI/CHIANCIANO. There are busses in connection with all the trains, but if you will advise us of your arrival we will come to pick you up. |
