In 1950, the Ferri family began to work at the grounds surrounding the property, an original farmhouse from the 17th century. Since then, 3 generations have grown cereals, fruit and aromatic herbs, producing delicious jams, and then they bred cattle and pig, starting a small business with some of the best cold cuts and meats in the region. |
This everyday activity became an attraction for tourists, who can nowadays become witnesses of the growing of the land, the picking of the olives and the harvest. The results of this work are on sale but they will also be part of your meals during your stay: at breakfast, taste the genuine jams, or the cold cuts directly from the farm; in the evening, try the typical Tuscan dishes made with cattle meat or the vegetables you have seen being born! |
Mamma Emilia is in charge of these healthy products that will add a natural diet to an already outdoor vacation in the middle of the meadows and the beds of sunflowers. From the rooms, decorated as any traditional house in the countryside but renovated in 1994 (as the rest of the inn), the windows hide the most soothing view of the woods and the harmony of nature. |
