 The Agriturismo Natura & Salute farmhouse is open all year, though it may close between January 8th and February 8th if there are no reservations. It serves breakfast, made up of genuine jams from the farm, home-made cakes, yoghurts, coffee, tea and milk, as well as fresh fruit and cold cuts. The healthy diet continues at midday, when you can have a Light Lunch service of fresh dishes: salads, a sandwich with cold cuts from the farm, ice cream and cold drinks. |
 And in the evening, for a cost not included in the rooms` price, you can try the delicious creations of Mamma Emilia, taking care of the healthy ingredients as well as the typical Tuscan menu. Home-made pasta, vegetables grown in the garden and meat from the local cattle are some of the plates available, though you should not miss the following specialties: the Wild Boar Stef, the Rabbit stewed with Vernaccia`s wine and the Maltagliati with garlic sauce. |
 At the Agriturismo Natura & Salute you even have the chance of experiencing the birth of many of the products you taste: guests are welcome to participate in the everyday activities of the farm (an adventure that can be really attractive to children), from the growing of the land and the harvest -depending on the season- to the picking of olives and the preparation of the jams. |
 A guided tour in English and Italian is made so that you understand all the processes. Afterwards, you may even buy any of the products to take back home or give as souvenirs from your trip. Tasting sessions are available too, for oil, wine, cold cuts and jams, and cooking lessons will enable you to prepare your own Tuscan meals back at home, using any of the ingredients acquired at the farm. |
 The outdoor area of the farm is also enchanting for strolls or just relaxing at the swimming pool, which is placed right in the middle of fruits trees. It measures 2 x 14 metres and is open from April to October. As regards the common areas inside the farmhouse, at the reception you will find telephones to call outside, staff speaking English, French and Italian, a large dining room with tv and fireplace, and an Internet point where to stay connected to the outer world. |

| There are all sorts of activities in the surroundings of the Agriturismo Natura & Salute, most of them to make the most of the fresh air and nature. Either by bike or on horse-back (both supplied by the inn on request) you can reach different interesting points, granting the charm of history and panoramic photo opportunities. For example, from Monte Voltraio you can see Volterra, the Era Valley and the Cecina Valley, along with ancient remains. Two different itineraries end in Castelvecchio, a medieval fortress surrounded by woods that was abandoned in the 16th century. If you have a car, you can visit some of the main Tuscan cities, such as Siena (40 km), Firenze (50 km) and Pisa (60 km). |
