 "Le Muricce" Bed&Breakfast Farmhouse is situated in the centre of Tuscany, near Greve in Chianti, halfway between Florence and Siena. On a quiet and isolated position, in a hill about 300 metres above sea level, it' s a short drive (asphalt road) from the town of Greve in Chianti and from the main road that links Florence to Siena. |
 The estate is set in the green hills of Tuscan countryside and it is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and the Mediterranean scrub woods of Chianti. The main historical art towns, the ruins, the Etruscan itineraries, the castles, the Medieval squares, the Renaissance villas of Tuscany are easily reached from here. |
 Guests can stay in a typical stone farmhouse, surrounded by a Leonardo da Vinci's landscape, that can be admired from every part of the house. "The Muricce" farm used to be part of the nearby Vignamaggio Castle, former estate of Monna Lisa' s family. The main part of the farm is a typical Tuscan stone countryhouse recently turned into an "Agriturismo" (Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast) with its original style, materials and rooms untouched. |
