 The main spot of the house is the spacious and high-ceilinged hall with a fireplace and wooden beams on the ceiling which are a peculiarity of all the building. This is the meeting place for breakfast and relaxation during the day. On request a computer is also available for e-mails and bookings for theatres or museums. |
 The farm "Le Muricce" extends over an area of 4 hectares (10 acres) where we cultivate vines and olives according to the laws of nature, without recourse to herbicide or other harmful substances. From our crops we obtain excellent olive oil and a real Chianti wine, produced and bottled in our own cellars. |
 Besides the beauty of the place and the high quality of accomodation at "Le Muricce" we can offer some activities to make your stay here more pleasant. You can apply directly when booking or on your arrival. Feldenkrais Method gymnastics: Individual lessons to learn to increase your psychophisical resources and to improve the way you move. The Feldenkrais Method is addressed to people who want to experiment new ways of learning, combat the devastating stress mechanisms, improve artistic and sports skills, better their movements for those who have orthopaedic or neurological problems, reduce pain, reach flexibility and achieve a better posture. In the heart of the Chianti Classico is Greve in Chianti, the "wine city", with its vineyards, olive-trees, its castles, its parishes and its medieval hilltop villages. Ramuzzi bicycles and scooters for rent: to travel freely among Chianti landscapes (prices on request). "Le Muricce" provides its guests with art itineraries and nature routes for hikers, bikers and car drivers. There is also a very good bus service between Greve in Chianti and Florence. |
