Podere Montese is a tipical Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by Vernaccia vineyards and is situated on a hillside 1 km north of San Gimignano in front od its medieval towers. The house has been totally restored and dominates the valley from its park with a wonderful view that stretches over the countryside. |

Arrival from Milan/Rome: - Motorway A1:
Take the "Autostrada Del Sole A1" Milano-Roma and exit at Firenze-Certosa. Then take the Superstrada Firenze-Siena and exit at Poggibonsi. In the village of Poggibonsi follow the signs for Empoli/Certaldo/San Gimignano. Drive on the country road SS 429 from Poggibonsi in direction of ertaldo until you reach a big supermarket called "Pam" and turn left in direction of San Gimignano/Volterra.
In San Gimignano drive alongside the ancient city walls in direction of Certaldo. About 300 m before arriving at the village ended on the left side you will see a big tree with the sign "Via di Fugnano". Turn left and after about 150 m the road becomes a dirts track. Follow the track for about 300 m until you see a sign indicating to right (uphill, paved) to Podere Montese.
