Philipe greeted us warmly and showed us all aspects of the apartment. He also provided maps and information about the area. We also had waiting a welcoming pack of water, wine, pasta, juice, cut flowers, fruit and a lovely Easter cake, accompanied by chocolate eggs. It made us feel very welcome.

We had a great time. Our hosts regularly checked to make sure that everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. They were most helpful and hospitable. In spite of our language differences we had pleasant conversations with a little help from a dictionary.

Our hosts came over in the morning to say goodbye to us and gave us a gift to take home to our grandson.

It would be useful if you included in the directions the location of the apartment once one arrives in Montefiridolfi. Although the town is small, English is not common among the local population.

We have already recommended it to our friends. It has the greatest hosts, a beautiful apartment with a lovely garden, and an ideal location for a visit to Tuscany.
