The road descrpition was clear ... There was no place outside the house the promissed terasse was much too small for the family. ... It should state that the location is located in a remote area, this can be positive because it is very quit, but it is far to visit the toscany villages ... A very nice place and quit place with a very nice swimming pool but a little far from interesting places to visit.

It would have been helpful to know that we needed to bring our own toilet roll, mosquito repellent, dishwasher tablets etc. The trip to the nearest town / supermarket was more than 30 minutes down some terrifyingly steep and winding roads. Luckily we had had the foresight to bring some milk, food etc with us otherwise we'd have been very unhappy indeed. ... The property wasn't as private and secluded as we'd expected, and we ended up sharing the pool with a large English group (including approx. a dozen children) which spoiled the peace and quiet that we were hoping for. The villa itself was faultless though - quiet, very spacious and spotless. The only possible addition that I would suggest would be an oven for cooking our pizza (didn't work in the microwave). The maps and information that Stefano left for us were invaluable. ... I would definitely mention to bring your own toilet roll etc - and to definitely do a shop in Montevarchi at the large supermarket there before heading up to Montefianali. Also, the directions I think should say something like: Turn at the overhead signs for Mercatale and Nusenna. Follow signs for TV. Go through Mercatale on the 73, then Nusenna. After Nusenna (x km), look out for sign bending back on yourself to the right saying Montefianali. ... The hassle of a remote location (i.e. difficult to get to and with no amenities such as shops and restaurants nearby) but without the benefits of a remote setting (i.e. privacy and peace and quiet next to the pool). The villa was lovely though, and the views were staggering.

The road, in the end, was really complicated. Maybe, it is necessary to be more specific about how narrow it is in its final part, specially if you travel with children. It´s not a properly road for going out everyday. ... A very beautiful and relaxing place. Very cheap for how nice it was, althoug the road to reach it was very bad in its final part.
