The accomodations were spacious and very much up to date. The veiw was beautiful from all areas to include the apartment. The stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. I would love to return and spend more time at Mantalpruno.

This was a great experience for our entire family. The kids loved being there as much as us adults. The family could not have been any more hospitable. I have recommended this experience, and Montalpruno specifically, to anyone who will listen.

Please contact Claudia regarding proper arrival directions, those printed on the website were incorrect and got us very lost.

1. A print out of nearby supermarkets would be helpful with directions to them
2. A list of areas available for our use would be expected. We were told that the back patio was 'off limits' to us, i.e. only for those guests whose doors opened onto that area
3. A list inside the rental that listed directions on trash/recycling disposal would be most welcome.

A beautiful villa in a beautiful location. Our unit (Prato) was perfect for two people, and had everything we needed including a dishwasher, TV, and plenty of room. There was no air conditioning but we actually didn't need it, as opening the windows in the evening cooled things off considerably. The only downside to this was the presence of young children for a few days while we were there. They were very loud and the units are close together so their crying awoke us very early in the morning. Why anyone would bring children under a year of age to a villa in Tuscany is beyond us. The property owners should discourage that in order to create a nicer 'vacation environment' for the other guests. For example, a family of four was there the same week as us and the older kids were fine. There is plenty of room by and in the pool for all of us. We were on our honeymoon and we able to 'escape' just by walking into the vineyards or enjoying our meal on one of the many patio areas. The owners were very friendly, Claudia even baked us a tart for one of our dinners! She was very helpful with directions, guidance on activities and restaurant reccomendations. The villa even makes its own wines, olive oil and grappe - all of which were very good. All in all we had a great time and would visit again.
