I arrived at the resort ealier than I was expected. Nevertheless, I was welcomed warmly and checked in hours before I was supposed to.

Our townhouse was everything one could possibly want. We had a completely furnished kitchen with new appliances, warm and wonderful fireplace with unlimited supplies of wood, and gorgeous vistas from our many windows. I doubt your photos could capture how truly wonderful this property really is, especially for the American traveler.

Professional and painless. The staff have all your charges well documented so checking out takes only a moment.

You might consider adding a description of the Mugello region which you can only experience fully from a property such as Monsignor Della Cases which sits in a valley whose owners are committed to preserving its cultural and land-use traditions.

Monsignor Della Casa consists of newly restored historical farm buildings surrounded by hundreds of acres of traditionally-managed agricultural fields. The apartments are large, finely detailed, heavily amenitized, and architecturally interesting. By and large, they are secluded from most neighboring units. It is a joy to walk around the property, even in the rain. The gardens and hedge rows are always filled with song birds, some of which continue their songs long into the night. If there is one place in Italy where a foreigner can feel at peace in a strange land, surely it must be at Monsignor Della Casa. Thank you for bringing it to the world.

A beautiful resort, with a great range of activities and resourses, as well as serviceminded personell. The resort is at best during the summer.

The town of Borgo San Lorenzo is a nice comunity, people was so nice and the location is perfect. Country quite and beautiful.

I travel a lot and this is one of the most pleasent staying in all my travels. I love the house. We are thinking to retur next year.

Excellent staff, accommodation, facilities and food. I couldn't rate it highly enough. The directions on how to get there need to be improved however.

the only negative thing that I have to mention is that the rooms were not very clean. Taking into account that the resort has charged us 100 euros extra for cleaning, we were expecting to find the appartment in a better condition (to be more specific: the WC dustbins were full of used toilet paper, the furnitures were full of dust, under the beds the floor was very dirty and the one double bedroom that we used did'nt have when we arrived linen and towels.

There was someone there to greet us and even had a glass of welcome wine :) Arrival experience was great.

Our stay was GREAT. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was not available was the internet, but the rest of our stay more than made up for that small inconvience. On my next trip to Italy I will deffinatly be staying there again.

The only suggestion, which I think they have corrected since, would be that the description as to how far the resort to town is, is somewhat misleading. This resort is not within walking distance to town. Also, it was stated that the resort is a short 3km to the train station, when in fact it was more like 6km.
I'm sure people who are traveling by train would like to know this, and arrange other means of transportation when traveling to town, Florence, ect... This could have been a huge inconviencence for me and my party, considering we had bought a train pass for the duration of our stay.

It would be a good idea to mention that the resturant and pool area are closed during the month of March. This was not told to us until it was too late to cancel and be refunded our money.

There is a cleaning fee, which was not quoted at the time of reservation. I feel the price for cleaning was fair, however they do charge per person for cleaning including children and infants.

The resort will arrange a pick-up for you, but keep in mind that it is a taxi and will cost about 15 euros one way.
Also, as I mentioned above, the cleaning fees, and distance from town and train station are worth considering.

I would say that it was a beautiful resort. The area is quiet, quaint, and private. Although outside major cities, you get a taste of the real Tuscany!

Unfortunately, the only thing we had trouble with was the sound that travelled from the other two units arounds us. We could hear EVERYTHING that went on in the bedrooms next to our bedroom.

as a group organiser i received the following comments: Cleaning charges were high and inconsistant, 2 bedroom unit were charged both clening charges and not the same or 50/50? ( taylor)The restaurant charges for the first night were high! Pool was too cold.( should be heated in order to make it comfortable)Sheets and towels should be cleanes or replaced at least once during a week.Other than that staff was very pleasent and location was great ( how did you find this place ivor)
