 Il Molinello is located in the hearth of crete senesi. They are the white precipices, or the brown or ochre colour of the earth. They are finally thecharacteristics trees (also solitary) on the tops of hills beaten from the wind. The Clays, in any season you visit them, are an unique almost lunar landscape. From Il Molinello you can easily reach the most beautiful tuscan towns: Siena (25 km); Arezzo (30 km); Montepulciano (20 km); Montalcino (20 km); Pienza (30 km), and so on. |

By Car:
At km 28 on the link road Siena- Bettolle (main road n. 326), turn right (coming from Siena) or left (coming from Bettolle) at the crossroads Serre di Rapolano - Asciano. Turn left towards Serro di Rapolano and keep going for 2.6 km, keeping on the main road, but not entering the village. At the fork near the power station, turn right. After 300 m. turn left at a large crossroads. After 1.4 km you will be able to see a blue road sign indicating "IL MOLINELLO". Take the dirt track and after 500 m you will arrive. Welcome to "Molinello". |
