 Migliarino is a small Tuscan town situated on the tyrrhenian coast between Pisa and Versilia with a beautiful view of both the tyrrhenian sea and the Apuane Alps. The "Fattoria di Migliarino" is set in the "Tenuta Salviati", a private estate of over 3.000 hectares with many kilometers of sea-front property, which is active in the sectors of agri-turism, zootechnics, and horticulture. |
 The beauty of pine forests and of typical Mediterranean vegetation prompted the inclusion of this estate in the Natural Park of Migliarino-San Rossore- Massaciuccoli. Staying in Migliarino offers the opportunity to follow a series of artistic and cultural itineraries, as it is near Pisa (10 km), Lucca (15 km), Firenze (80 km), Siena (120 km), Carrara ( 40 km) and Torre del Lago (8 km) famous for the Puccini Festival which is held there yearly. |
 For those who prefer to relax, have fun and enjoy the sea, there is a free beach nearby at Marina di Vecchiano, while in Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Tirrenia it is possible to rent cabanas and sun-umbrellas. Besides this, within the Salviati Estate there are many opportunities to practice sports such as horseback riding, tennis, canoeing, sailing, fishing and day-excursions both on foot and on mountain-bikes (which can be rented on the spot). For those who like golfing, there are 4 golf courses within 50 kilometers. |
 The houses of the Fattoria di Migliarino are surrounded by beautiful vegetation and they have been carefully restructured with an eye to detail and comfort. These houses were all built before the turn of century thus have an old-world charm. All the apartments are independent, they are divided so as to include ground-floor to attic, have their own garden and have been furnished with typical Tuscan furniture. The Fattoria is surrounded by a garden of about one hectare, and guests can use the swimming pool, barbecue and ping-pong table which are at their disposition.
Then Fattoria di Migliarino also produces and sells ornamental plants, meat, vegetables, oil, wine and other products typically used in the Tuscan cuisine. Our clients will get a discount if they purchase these products. |
