Casa Mezzuola is removed a fair distance up
the hill above Greve, so, while hiking the
stated 2.7 km distance is possible, it should
be mentioned that having transportation
(either a car or motorcycle) is really a
must for getting into Greve in a timely
manner. (I should mention, however, that
my hosts were very willing to give me a lift
in their car to and from Greve on those
occasions when I had no motorscooter at
my disposal.)
On a more general note, it should be a
requirement of each and every location
listed on Tuscany.net to state clearly
whether or not the location of an
accomodation is in a sunny location or
not. This is especially important during
stays in the winter and summer when
temperature extremes occur.
