The dreamy-pink bedroom A very bright and spacious bedroom, decorated with a touch of british style, where shades of pink and white blend with delicate floral motifs... from the south-west window you enjoy a stunning view of a typical Tuscan countryside, with hills and cypress trees marking the profile of the horizon... a close-to-perfect frame set for a fluffy, cosy and indulging effect on the mind! The iron-cast bed, in old-style size (145 cm) is particularly suitable for couples who prefer closeness to room. For the cold winter season, you may light the old wood stove for a natural and emotional heating. Upon request it is possible to add a single bed, Coffee/tea making facilities, En-suite bathroom with shower. |
The thought-green bedroom More formal and classic interiors for this bedroom, where an early 1900s style bed with co-ordinated bedside tables and chest of drawers dominate the contrast with the red and green colour scheme of the room. Clean design, neo classical inspired, just right to bring thoughts together and relax. The bed is double but can also split in twins. En-suite bathroom with energising shower. Upon request up to two cots or a single bed can be added. TV set and coffee/tea making facilities. |
The journey-orange suite The only suite on site, the orange bedroom blends the warm tones of the walls to the worldly atmosphere of a clean design where bits and pieces from intense travelling confer a vaguely ethnic taste. A cosy sitting room preludes to the bedroom itself, situated in the "colombaia" (literally the dove nest), a unique setting for romantic getaways, in the highest point of the whole house, from where you can enjoy breathless views of the surrounding countryside. En-suite bathroom with energising shower. Upon request up to two cots or a single bed can be added. TV set and coffee/tea making facilities. |
The forget-me-not blue bedroom The one bedroom with a definite typical Tuscan feel, with its old terracotta flooring and the walls of an intense blue shade, as one could have found in ancient country homes, and the essential furniture in "arte povera" (literally poor artisanship) style. An old wooden door, found in the "cantina" before the renovation of the house, hangs on the wall as a headboard for the double bed, comfortable and roomy. The bedroom is large and airy, it has an en-suite shower bathroom, with a peculiar marble wash-basin from an old monastery. Upon request a single bed can be added. |
