They speak french and english and they make sure you enjoy your stay by providing a lot of tourist information and they are full of supprises (home made cakes, fruit from the garden, home made pizza from their wood oven). We had a wonderful 2 week stay

We only had one suggestion, is that soap be
added to the bathroom and shower for guests.

Palazzo a Merse was a perfect place to stay,
located just outside of Siena. From Palazzo a
Merse we were able to easily visit several
other towns in the Tuscan region. Andreas and
his family were delightful and we hope to
make a return trip so that my husband can
take Andreas up on his bike tours. For those
looking for an escape from city life and want
to wake up to the birds chirping instead of
horns honking, this is a great place and a
great value for your money. Breakfast was
delicious, and the conversation wonderful.

- The apartment was generous and very comfortable for two people.
- Next time I would prefer a place with a swimming pool and perhaps nearer a town or a beach.
- 'Individual air conditioning' mentioned on the web-brochure means an electric and movable fan. This was a supprise for me, since I thought it meant the same as air conditioning. Yet, the arrangement prowed to be adequate.
