A very pleasant young man showed us our accommodation and we felt quite welcome. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine from the estate.

The accommodation was very clean and quiet. The pool was immaculate and the grounds were well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked and the linens were new.

Andre was always helpful and kind.We certainly did not always have that expereience in Italy as we travelled .

I didn't realize how much there was to do at our fingertips. The towns near by are lovely and fun to visit. WE did find Poggibonsi the most confusing place to get around after about a week we almost had it figured out. The surrounding area at the entrance to the Villa was a bit messy as it looked like some construction was underway and at first until we saw the accomodation , it was a bit of a turn off but wow the pool and the bedrooms and the view were breath taking.

We would make another trip to Italy and just do Tuscany. WE will also recommend this to others we know.

Perhaps more signs on the roads especially at the fork in the road that is Talciano.(spelling)We could have used a bit more info about what the Villa supplied . WE thought all paper products would be supplied and weren't and the coffee making equipment was really not enough for four people. That could be because we are Canadians and were looking for a coffee maker. WE ended up boiling water and putting the grounds in the pot . IT wasn't ideal.

We were fortunate that we only had one other family for the whole time and a few over nighters so we had the place pretty well to ourselves. It was a highlight of our holiday. Peaceful, beautiful scenery, clean comfortable and Andre let us e-mail our kids. The surrounding towns were so accessible and coming home from a hot day of sightseeing and being able to fall in to the beautiful pool was a treat. I would open my windows in the morning and just stare at the vinyards and and surrunding hills and listen to the birds singing. I loved it.

Beautiful place, and very good location. Short drive to both Siena & Florence not to mention the Chianti 'highway'. Also very quiet, which suited my wife and me perfectly. We wanted to relax and Melograni was therefore a top choice for us.

After a bit of confusion with our reservation, we were upgraded to a beautiful suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was lovely. Our experience there was great and we only wish that we stayed longer.

It wasn't clear in the English-Italian translation that we needed to check out before 9:00 on Sunday morning. After a neighbor calling the staff, he was there in 10 minutes to help us check out.

It is difficult to find and the directions should be clearer.

I would tell anybody that is staying in the Chianti region to stay there. It was lovely and an ideal location.

we couldn't find the place so we phone and
the person in charge that night drove into
town and helped us - we really appreciate
the effort.

wish it was summer so we could use the
