| | |  Farmhouse Masseto is in the hills of Chianti Classico between Castellina in Chianti and Greve in Chianti, on the border of the provinces of Siena and Firenze, surrounded by beautiful villages rich in history, culture and interesting sights. In the main farmhouse the medieval tower dating from the XI century overlooks the valley of Pesa river. |
 These towers were important for the domination of Chianti during the wars between Siena and Firenze. When they lost their military function they were turned into residences with farms alongside. Currently the farm consists of 120 acres of woodland and fields cultivated with vineyards and terraced olive groves. |
 The farmhouse activity started in the 80's with two barns converted into elegant, well furnished apartments with modern kitchens and bathrooms, open fireplaces, antique furniture and satellite television. Each apartment has its own shady and furnished terrace area, with use of the swimming pool in the summer months. The owners live at the farmhouse and are always available to help make their guests' stay pleasant and enjoyable. |
