The house was much bigger than expected. Perfect for families and those who want to visit a quieter part of Tuscany. Being by the coast was lovely. Peek times would be horrible. Very easy drive to get to from Roma, rather than Pisa. ... Cutignolo Podere was much, much bigger than expected. We were very pleased with the property and grounds. The house was not furnished as aticipated by the pictures on the website. The sofas in both living areas were shabby and covered with old sheets. This was a dissapointment. The kitchen had no wine glasses, and we had to wait a few days until they arrived. I thought this was very strange. The kitchen was under equipped. There was no microwave, not even a measuring cup or weighing scales. A blender or mixer would have been very useful. The air con did not work in any of the rooms. The beach towels we pre-ordered did not get delivered for 4 days, yet we were expected to pay for the full week. The furniture in some rooms looked tired and put there to fill a space rather than to be usefull. ... Cutignolo Podere is not up high by the castle. This should be made very clear on the website. It is difficult to find and the house should have a detailed map of the area upon arrival to help orientate new visitors. Where is the petrol. where is supermarket etc.

We arrived is separate groups which was necessary because of different travel arrangements and airports. It was fortunate that we had mobile phones to get directions to the villa late at night. ... We had a wonderful time and the accommodation was excellent. ... I feel that you have undersold the property and the scale of it. It is extremely well managed and the owner and her staff could not have been more helpful: please convey my sincere thanks. ... Spacious, well appointed, quiet, excellent for family holidays. Well located for Rome, Siena, and Pisa visits with the rolling Tuscan hills and hiltop towns around every corner.
