 Both of our properties, the town house suite Mariuccia and the apartments are situated in the centre of Montalcino. The check-in is at the Enoteca Pierangioli in Piazza del Popolo 16. Montalcino is famous for its good wine, Brunello di Montalcino and the owner of the apartments have also a "cellar", where you can taste the wine. Near the property there are many good restaurants and nice shops, where you can buy something interesting. The village is also well situated to visit the other towns of the region.

Affittacamere Mariuccia is situated in piazza del Popolo, 28, but for check in or check out, you have to go at number 16 at Enoteca Pierangioli. The apartments are situated in via Mazzini, at number 9 on the first floor and at number 23 at the second floor. Once you reach Montalcino, park your car in Piazza garibaldi or in Paizza Cavour and reach Affittacamere mariuccia on foot. The property si located in the main square of Montalcino and it is not reachable by car.
By Car
Coming from the north - from the highway A1: take the exit Firenze Certosa and then take the motor way to Siena. Take the exit Siena sud and follow the directions to Buonconvento-Montalcino, on the street called "Cassia". When you reach Montalcino and you are at the roundabout, in front of the small village, enter in the town and follow the street on your left. The property is in piazza del Popolo.
Coming from the south - from the highway A1:, take the exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terma and then follow the directions to Montepulciano-Pienza-San Quirico d'Orcia-Montalcino, on the SS 146. When you reach Montalcino and you are at the roundabout, in front of the small village, enter in the town and follow the street on your left. The property is in piazza del Popolo.
Coming from the south - from the motorway Siena-Grosseto: take the exit Paganico and then follow the directions to Monte Amiata-Montalcino, as above.
By Train
Take a train to Siena or Grosseto. From there you can take the local train to Buonconvento. From Buonconvento there are many busses leaving to Montalcino or if you prefer we can arrange a pick up service at an extra charge. |
