By Car:
From Florence, Milan or Bologna (A1 Highway):
Take the Firenze Scandicci exit. Enter S.G.C. FI-PI-LI (Strada di Grande Comunicazione, which is the free motorway from Florence to Pisa and Livorno). Exit at Ginestra Fiorentina. Follow signs to Montespertoli, Castelfiorentino. Then follow signs to Montaione (about 8 Km).
From Rome, Siena (A1 Highway): Take the Valdichiana - Sinalunga exit. Follow road signs to Siena. At Siena, follow signs for Siena - Firenze and exit at Poggibonsi. Follow signs to Certaldo, Castelfiorentino. Then follow traffic signs to Montaione (about 8 Km).
From Genoa, Pisa (A12 Highway):
Exit at Pisa Centro. Take S.G.C. FI-PI-LI (Strada di Grande Comunicazione, which is the free motorway from Livorno and Pisa to Florence) and exit at Montopoli Valdarno. First follow signs to Marti and then, after few intersections, follow signs to Montaione.
By Train:
The nearest train station is in Castelfiorentino, about 8 Km away. A bus service links Castelfiorentino to Montaione. |
