Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, tranquil place, excellent food and wine, very good service.
There is a small gymnasium, would have liked a cross-trainer or treadmill in there!

It was exceptional, the staff was so welcoming, especially Sylvia. We felt as if we were arriving at a friend's home. It could not have been a better arrival experience. No computers were used to check us in at a desk, we arrived at the front door and the administrative aspect of the check in was seamless to us.

I will highly recommend Villa Mangiacane to anyone visiting the area. It was exactly what we were looking for, yet even better.

The check out was not anything like staying at a 'chain', Sylvia brought everything to our room and we settled the account in a more personal, individualized manner.

I think the website for Villa Mangiacane provides a good description of the property,but until you stay there you really cannot believe it. You may want to consider more information on the Chianti they produce as it was exceptional and reasonably priced for our consumption throughout the stay.

Incredible, with the most 'awesome' views. A true Tuscan villa. Words are hard to describe this place...we had dinner in the wine cellar and will always cherish the memories of the candlelite dinner to the sounds of Bocelli with Mangiacane Chianti in our glasses, Mangiacance olive oil on our plates...I could talk for hours about the place.

This place was beautiful, we were upgrated to a Jr. suite! it was amazing! and the people were great...we enjoyed our stay and definitly would recomend to others.

They arranged a cab on the day of check out at 7:30 am to Florence airport, but when we arived at the reception area no one was there and our cab was waiting outside of the enclosed gates. They stated they didn't start until 8:00am. but they knew of our departure early...well it worked out we let the cab in ourselfs and left a note.

We did not have any online directions as we
were coming in from Venice.
Our accommodations were to have been a two
bedroom suite with living room in the main
villa, we had two bedrooms side by side in the
farmhouse, they were lovely rooms, however.
