 The Wine:
A glass of Chianti Classico wine sits on exquisitely crafted dining table, its intense ruby red hue glows in the daylight. You inhale the spicy and sweet aromas of wild berries and wood. The wine is made the classical way, with Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grapes, all handpicked from the estate's vineyards in San Casciano and Greve. For Tuscans, luxury is made of simple pleasures. Wine, a little fresh farm-bread and a lot of olive oil. Villa Mangiacane makes its own Olio de' Oliva, famous for its distinctly peppery notes. |
 The Olive Oil:
An Italian meal isn't complete without Olio di Oliva. The Tuscan region is known for producing a particularly flavoursome variety, renowned for its peppery note. Mangiacane Extra Virgin Olive Oil is part of our history, as is evident from the ancient measuring casts and old frontoio with its big wheel, still on display. However, today it is our modern oil extraction plant, which produces the superior quality extra-virgin olive oil with excellent organoleptic health qualities. |

The Main Villa and beautiful garden surroundings are an ideal backdrop for hosting special functions. We can provide you with a personalised menu prepared by special chefs and a fully staffed function. Alternatively we can connect you to an Wedding Organiser who will arrange the entire event for you.

| Closed to the Villa, there is the beautiful Village of San Casciano Val di Pesa, that offers all kind of shops: grocery stores (some open on Sundays morning), restaurants (also open on Sundays), pharmacies (some open on Sundays), banks (closed on Saturdays and Sundays). In San Casciano Val di Pesa there is a picturesque open market on Monday morning and another one in Greve in Chianti on Saturday morning (15 km away). |
