Very comfortable stay, perfectly situated in Lucca's inner town, with historic surroundings. Very nice breakfast and excellent service.

We did not read the 3 pm check-in on the reservation so we arrived before there was anyone to check us in. There was no receptionist, we were checked in by the owner/manager who was very polite and helpful throughout our stay.

The office was open 3:00 - 7:00, and they were right on time!

Breakfast was included, we got a voucher to take to one of 2 different coffee shops. It included a coffee, a roll & a water.

The hotel was close to many shops, restaurants & interesting places to visit. The atmosphere was elegant & relaxing. The staff was very helpful & informative. (thank you Laura!) She made our stay a great experience.

Give better parking instructions and make it clear that parking isn't on site.

Garden apartments overlook a restaurant gardne. Not a big issue but a bit shocking at first.

Breakfast was a little disappointing as it was in a cafe, which in itself was a good experience, but was a very basic amount of food.

Very good central position in Lucca. An excellent place to visit other cities such as Pisa and florence. Very good train service close by.

Eventhough we arrived late and the host had to wait for us; she was still very helpfull and kind.

1. The related parking space is not as near to the B&B as expected.
2. Breakfast is not served on the premises. I think that should be communicated. (It was not a problem for us, but might be for others.
3. La Drogheria is nicer for breakfast than Il Sole.

Charming and nice. I must say that more maintainance to the garden would improve the place. More could be done in creating a nice atmospere. (e.g. Lighting and seats in the garden)
