Facilities within the Property

At the Luna d'Oro farm house, located in the heart of the Val d'Orcia region, all guests may spend a relaxing and fun holiday, in a friendly atmosphere. You can enjoy comfortable accommodation along with the use of the swimming pool and the possibility to go horse-riding.

In addition, due to the favourable location, the Agriturismo Luna d'Oro is at
the centre of a lot of trekking paths which lead to the marvellous 'crete' or the Amiata Mountain.

From the swimming pool there are wonderful views of the Val d'Orcia 'crete'... Horses are available to ride through the delightful Val d'Orcia countryside. The Luna d'oro ranch also has a small lake and a forest; ideal places to go for a walk and to completely relax.

Lunadoro farm is a very large property, some of the land is cultivated and there is a small lake where you can go fishing. You can have a nice picnic in the small wood and visit the stables. "TRESA" is a stream which runs long the property feeding the small lake. There is a billiard room and a pergola by the swimming pool under which you can enjoy having breakfast.

In summer evenings the family like to organise small parties and live music round the swimming pool. Gigliola, Dario and the children live here and are always available. They like to maintain a good and happy relationship with their guests.

Both Rome and Florence can be reached in about 90 minutes by car or by train in one hour from Chiusi. The countryside between Sarteano and Radicofani is dotted with monasteries and castles, and the Val d'Orcia itself is a spectacular natural and cultural attraction, made famous by Iris Origo's book, "War in Val d'Orcia. A diary." (Cape, 1947 and reprinted many times since).
