 Under the skillful guidance of Paolo Alberto Rossi, one of Italy's foremost experts in architectural restoration, the five houses: Casa Maria, Casa Severino, Casa Clementina, Casa Amedeo, Casa Remo within the hamlet and the independent villa, Casale Sarageto, all show how interior space, the building materials that contain it and the landscape outside can be reconciled in a constant interplay of light, color and form.
Even the swimming pools blend in with their surroundings. With finest furnishings, each home offers a beautifully balanced mixture of texture and tone: the pale-beige of local travertine, the warm hues of terracotta, seasoned wood, trompe-l'oeil motifs, unusual hand-painted ceramics, hessian, canvans, pale jacquard textiles and bright printed cottons. |
 Casa Amedeo: From the small piazza of the village is the entrance to Casa amedeo, which at one time was the old stable, and is now the living room, in which there are two single beds. A circular stairway leads to a comfortable and spacious lounge with dining room / kitchen area. One wall of this attractive room boasts a full lenght large traditional Tuscan fireplace. The bedrooms are one with double and the other with twin beds. Here the furnishings are designed to provide for the comfort of four persons, but if necessary can accommodate six. |
 Casa Remo: The windows of Casa Remo overlook the Church courtyard and the surrounding hills with Montalcino in the far distance. This apartment has a unique and large well furnished lounge with an immense traditional fireplace and a dining room / kitchen. By going down three steps we reach the bedrooms, two double bedrooms, (one king size, the other twin bedded room), the other with two separate beds has an en suite bathroom with bath. As in the other apartments the walls are traditionally decorated, and at various points there are some frescoes with small faded decorative motifs drawn by renowned designers |
 Casa Clementina: Casa Clementina faces onto the small village piazza, and its accommodation is on two levels, as in fact are the other two apartments. The entrance forms part of the living space, and a large comfortable in two double bedrooms and on single in this area can be used if required. A short staircase leads up to the well lit louge with its traditional fireplace. This area is connected to a comfortable dining room with fully equipped kitchen, located at the base of the ancient town walls. The kitchen has many charming features of tradional brick work and a worktop of travertine marble. French doors lead from the dining area to a small pathway wich in turn connects to the other two apartments and, through the stairs, to the hilltop garden and swimming pool. On the other side and away from the kitchen, are two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twin beds, each one with bathroom en suite.
Casa Severino: Set apart from the other accommodation, Casa Severino has a double bedroom, a twin-bedded room, two bathrooms, a large living room with fireplace and dining area, a kitchen and a bathroom. A small private garden incourage guests to dine, beneath the trees. |
 Casa Maria: Furnished with antiques, it has one small queesized bedroom, and one twin bedded room, a bathroom, shared bathroom, a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen-dining room with its own entrance. From the windows you can admire one of the most beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. Outside there is a small private garden for dining beneath the trees. On the hill is the large, panoramic swimming pool reserved for the hamlet's guests. Casa Maria is a cosy "honeymoon suite" recommended for two persons. |
 Casale Sarageto: Just outside the Borgo, the XVIII century newly renovated farmhouse has in the ground floor a large room for entertaining, loggia with barbecue and oven. In the first floor a central sitting room with large fireplace, large kitchen and dining room, three double suites (one kingsized , two twin bedded rooms but size of beds is larger than normal ones) then one single suite, private swimming pool with garden and parking places. High-quality fittings and furniture have been chosen with exquisite care to take advantage of the light and airy character of the building. Sarageto is a peaceful well decorated, comfortable house which cannot fail to delight even the most demanding guests. |
