Very clean, spacious friendly place. The staff was very helpful, and the location was very close to the local train station which was a 20 minute ride into Florence.

It is a very beautiful and quiet place. The rooms are very stylish and spacious and the garden is absolutely magnificient. The location is excellent as it is close to Florence and to the highway so it's easy to make daily trips to other towns in Tuscany.

The bus line stated on your website no longer runs there, so we had to ride a different,city bus, that didn't go directly there, and dropped us a long way from our destination. We called the bed and breakfast, and they came to us and picked us up. They were very nice in doing so.

We will stay here again when we return to Tuscany. The owners try very hard to make you as comfortable as possible. Great beds, great breakfast, quiet location, the best accomodations for the money we found in two weeks in Italy!

Don't be put off by the working class neighborhood in which this bed and breakfast is found. The spacious rooms, AC, restful retreat of the back yard, and helpful staff make this an exceptional stop.

Locandella del Poggio was a beautiful place to stop after 36 hours of travel time to our destination. Francesca was a wonderful hostess. We had a great sleep and a good breakfast the next morning before continuing our road trip to Loro Cuiffena.

I would think that it is a good place if one is to travel into Florence for day visits.

It would have been useful to say that there is a secure entrance gate to enter the property. The signa at this gate were a litle small.

the only problem was the reception area and the breakfast room were adjacent to the bedrooms - as there were no other guests we were not disturbed too much but did notice noise in preparing the room for breakfasts and by the phone ringing in reception.

- like a little piece of tuscany countryside but within such easy distance of a day trip to Florence.
