Monica and Danilo greeted us very warmly after a long night and a difficult time arriving there. It was a very pleasant welcome and the start of a terrific stay!

The accomodations at La Locanda del Moro were absolutely wonderful! They far exceeded our expectations and our stay there was the highlight of our whole European vacation. There was four of us staying there (two married couples) and all of us would stay there again in a heartbeat, and have told all of our friends that if they go to Tusany they must stay at La Locanda del Moro. Our experience of Tuscany was better than any of us imagined because of our stay there. Monica and Danilo's hospitality was amazing, their love of their area, their mountains, makes you fall in love with it too. They certainly made our trip there a memorable one.

It is a bit difficult to find (especially in the dark!) and the road is a bit scary, but don't worry, once you're there you will see that it is absolutely worth it!

La Locanda del Moro is the perfect way to experience Tuscany. The accomadations are so comfortable and beautiful we honestly were sad to go. They are decorated with as much care and taste as Monica and Danilo's own house, and the beds are so cozy! Danilo will tell you all about his beautiful mountains, all of the wonderful villages to visit in the area, and the best places to eat (including dinner there, which was delicious).

They could publicise the walks more, the Sentieri del Moro. These are excellent, and are useful for those not always wanting to travel, but to have a peaceful and relaxing time

A beautiful location in the mountains, with stunning views, an excellent swimming pool and lovely people.
