 We have realized a dream: where there was the stable and its barn, there is now "Locanda del Moro": a quiet and sunny place where to enjoy in peace your vacation. To the ancient visitors coming from North, overcoming the sinuous profile of Appennino mountains, Garfagnana appeared as a green basin overhung by the Apuane Alps. |
 Garfagnana: in the past days has not suffered radicals transformations and its beauty has arrived intact up to us thanks also to the realization of two natural parks that have stimulated the development of a qualified tourism. Beside sport activities on the surrounding mountains, a careful tourism has learned how to rediscover medieval traditions and products, such as farro, flour of chestnuts, mushrooms and cheese, and so on. |
 The "Locanda del Moro" is located in the medieval "Sillico" village, 714 meters on the sea level, only 9 km far from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. Here you can choose between two ways of spending your holiday: to stay relaxed in the peace of the country or do a lot of activities such as trekking, mountain bikes, excursions in mountains, tours to caves and natural parks. |
 The farmhouse is divided in two apartments:Il Lonfo and L'Ormasso, each completely independent and equipped with all necessary facilities. The estate offers a large swimming pool where you can relax getting tanned. The panoramic position and the beauty of the surroundings will make your stay unforgettable. |
