The Locanda del Moro is very close to middle age village of Sillico, where is possible to find grocery shops, bar and restaurant. In summertime is possible to listen to several concerts in the historical village; on August the middle age atmosphere returns in the ancient village with a spectacular festival with food, shops and traditions of the 15th century. |
There are a lot of small typical villages to visit nearby: ancient fortresses and castles, Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The Tirreno Sea, where you can enjoy a full day excursion to the "Cinque Terre", is 45 km far. |
Guests can also choose to discover Garfagnana land with long walks along the slopes of the Apuane Alps or the Appennino mountains, to see the animals of the wood, to observe the flight of "Poiana" and the golden eagle that still nests on the "Pania of Corfino" inside the Appennino National Park. |
