Accommodations

 The guestrooms at the Locanda di San Francesco can be found on the first floor of the property (bear in mind that there are no elevators). They all feature access to Internet (for a daily extra charge), heating and air conditioning, and are double chambers. Whatever is the room you prefer, they are all equipped with minibar, safe, tv flat screen, telephone and DVD player.
Room 1 (Executive room): At this chamber you will find a 19th century bed measuring 1,8 metres wide with an olive wood headboard that will take your breath away. The rest of the period furniture is completed by a wooden wardrobe, while the windows face Piazza San Francesco, the Val di Chiana and the Val D`Orcia. In the bathroom, enjoy the space of a shower stall measuring 1,8 metres by 1 m. |
 Room 2: This chamber is really cosy due to the warm shades that prevail, from orange to yellow. Relax in its queen-size bed, placed besides a hand-painted wardrobe. As for the panorama you will get from the windows, indulge in views of the lakes of Val di Chiana. In the bathroom, enjoy the space of a shower stall measuring 1,8 metres by 1 m and the wonderful panorama that you can admire fomthe two large windows on Val di Chiana and Montepulciano roofs.
Room 3: At this guestroom there is also a 19th century bed (1,8 metres wide) with an olive wood headboard, as well as delicate pieces of furniture like the wardrobe and the bookshelf. At the bathroom, the shower stall is a bit smaller (1 mē). |
 Room 4 (Suite): This is the most luxurious chamber in the Locanda. The jewel inside it is the "stanza segreta", a secret room that is reached through a spiral staircase and has been unknown till the restorations took place in 2006. Nowadays it works as a sitting room for the suite, being one of its stone walls common with the San Francesco church. Room 4 also features a crafted king size bed, a gothic brick arch that used to be a portal for the temple in the bathroom, and an ample circular shower. |
