The owner also resides on the property with his grandmother. He provided us with his mobile number and was available to help us in any way we required. He and his family were very welcoming and friendly, yet also respected the privacy of the guests. We were in Italy for our wedding and the owner organised our wedding reception for us at the property (without charging us for his services). I later found out that he rang the cook and waiter several times during the reception to ensure that everything was running smoothly. We could not have asked for better service.

We stayed in both villas Limoni, Zurli and the Dependence. On the web site, it does not indicate that Limoni and Zurli are actually on separate proerties, joined by a road (about 200m from each other). This was not a problem for us as the houses were very close and also very private. However, maybe a simple map on the website indicating the location of the buildings would be useful. This would be useful for other people intending to stay in one of the villas who may be concerned about privacy from the other villa.

The two villas are beautifully furnished, with antique furniture, old books and paintings. They are fully self contained with excellent kitchens (a cook prepared our wedding banquet in one of the kitchens!) The dependence is cosy and private and also self contained. The views from both villas were amazing - on a clear day you could look across the Tuscan fields to see Montepulciano perched on top of a hill. Many other hill top towns could be seen from the properties. The vineyards back up onto both properties and the owners make their own wine and olive oil.

Close to the highway (10 minutes). Many villas in the Chianti are far from the highway.

Great villa, not upscale but good Q/P ratio
Nice host. Jacopo speaks fluent French, which was nice.
Would recommend Tenuta Limoni (Villa Zurli) to my friends.

It was like arriving in Paradise - the family welcomed us and then showed us around their beautiful house.

Paradise as I already said - would recommend the house and position to anyone. NO complaints of any description.

The owner has two properties for rent. By looking at the web photoes, it was not possible to see which of the two properties we were going to rent.
The property was nice,but old. The kitchen should be better organized.

The property is perfect for 10 persons, with older children. Quiet and clean and the hosts are nice. A typical Toscan house where you really feel like living in the old times.
