Very happy with our accomodations provided by Le Traverse. Our hosts were very polite and helpful with any questions we had. The small town of Pienza was very nice as well... plenty to see and do to occupy us during the day. A very good choice, most definatly. Easy to get to from the Chuisu trainstation via rental car.

candles and everything! Pinuccia is
fantastic.

fruits from the farm whilst the fog
dissapated revealing Pienza was worth the
trip.

We were greeted very warmly by the owner Pinnuchia.

We couldn't have asked for more. Pinnucia and her staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and beautiful and the breakfasts were legendary. We were treated like friends and nothing was too much trouble. I only wish we'd had more than 2 nights there. We hope to return for a longer stay one day.

Cost wise Le Traverse was slightly more than we spent at other places around Italy, but the personal touches and the beauty of the place were worth every penny.

This was one of the most relaxing and
beautiful places that my husband and I have
stayed in Europe and we have been traveling
and living here for three years. Pinnuchia
and her husband were very polite, gracious
and helpful with helping us to make plans.

This is a real working farm and we were able
to purchase jams, wine and olive oil that
were made on the property. Also, the owner
helped us to make dinner reservations and
had wonderful pointers on places we should
visit during our stay.

Traverse. The view from the property of
Pienza is magnificient and breakfast under
the Tuscan Sun was unforgettable!

Our stay at Le Traverse was the highlight of our wonderful trip to Italy. Pinuccia is the perfect hostess and 'ambassador' for Tuscany. Our rooms were delightful, our breakfasts (and her homemade breakfast cakes)were delicious, and her information and suggestions about the area invaluable. We hated to leave.

We had a wonderful time - what a stunning location. Pinuccia was so helpful and such a pleasure to have her as our host. Lovely breakfast in the mornings at your own private table outside your room. Rooms are beautifully furnished & clean. We loved the two new kittens on the farm - really added to the ambience. Definitely recommended!

Our room was waiting for us with a bottle of there wine and fruit. It was lovely! They explained the breadfast arrangements, asked if we needed anything special, and told us they would see us in the morning.

We arrived late and there was no-one to meet us. We should have phoned to alert to our late arrival (10pm) however our mobile had died. Difficult to get in. Perhaps they should have left a key out.

Our room was part of the main house. It was very noisy in the mornings and during the day when the staff were around. Made sleeping late and relaxing challenging.
Breakfast was served at 8.30am. No choice about the time and we would rather have slept a little later - point of our holiday was to relax, not awaken early every day.

Some rooms are in the main house and are noisy in the mornings - could hear their conversations as clear as if they were in the room with me.

You need to work according to the owner's expectations, not the other way around. I would only recommend to a friend if they were prepared to awaken early and get out and about.

I didn't use the directions from your website. I actually spoke to the owner, Pinuccia, and she gave us excellent directions.

A quiet getaway in the hills of Tuscany. The drive getting there was so beautiful I wanted to cry. The room was clean and cosy with a gorgeous bathroom. We rated it the best breakfast we had during our entire trip. Pinuccia was an incredible host who willingly created a tour of the area and booked us a visit at a winery. The best rest and relaxation of our trip!
