 Le Rote has been a farmhouse since 1894 and belongs to the Scotti Family. The farm produces top quality cereal, wine and olives.
The 25 hector of vineyards produce the famous Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the Chianti of the Siena Hills, I.G.T. red, white and other types.
The farmhouse lies at the most fascinating point of the farm: actually situated above the highest hill which dominates the entire area of Siena and consisting of a beautifully restored eighteenth century cottage named Podere di Mezzo. |
