This was a great hotel and I would recomend it to friends, the only problem was the map of directions, very poor and confusing, we spent about one hour to find the hotel just because the map was so poor.

It was a loverly hotel in a beautiful area. the facilities were very good and the service excellent, we had a 1st class meal in the restaurant. We had only a few days stay but would go back another time Thanks.

The 1st class restaurant (a table should be booked as very popular) the gardens with Olive, orange and lemon trees, the pool with hot tub. and the shop selling the hotel's wine and oil.

There is a youth/social club next door, and on our first night, Saturday, the music was so load, that as our veranda overlooked the club, we could hardly speak to each other.
The level went down later, but I was concerned that the Hotel should have asked the club to keep the music level down. There was no requirement for it to be so high, even for those at the club.

The only problem was the club on our first night.

Hotel LeRenai was the highlight of our vacation in Italy. Instead of 4 nights, we wished we would have stayed for our full vacation. The place is delightful with ambience, peace and wonderful food. I would definitely go back.

Very pleasant, good value for money hotel in lovely rural surroudings. Bedrooms a little plain, but very clean. Public rooms and garden area very attractive and restful. Much better than staying in one of the tourist towns if you enjoy contact with 'local Tuscany'.

1-Practical position in Tuscany for tours.

We felt that the dining experience could have been enhanced. The food was good but the restaurant lacked a certain style. I'd suggest the room needs a figurehead eg. restaurant manager who can take control and give it some 'personality'. It would then be perfect.

We got held up on route and telephoned ahead to let the hotel know we would be arriving a little later than planned. The receptionist was marvellous and reassured us that everything was OK. She also asked where we were and gave us explicit details of how to find the hotel.

We had a wonderful holiday, the hotel is really homely, the staff without exception friendly and helpful and the food (and wines) in the restaurant absolutely out of this world. I am positive we will return to the hotel in the future - for me it can't come soon enough!

We felt that our stay at Le Renaie had mattered to the hotel staff and not just the bill at the end.

I have already described it to friends as a wonderful place to stay and have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants to holiday in that area. Like a little bit of heaven on earth!

A relaxing hotel, with good quality local, home made food. Beautiful views, and convenient for driving around Tuscany.
All this, and only just over an hours drive from Pisa airport - we just keep returning.

This was our third stay at Le Renaie. We find the hotel to be welcoming and relaxing.
We especially enjoy its location in Pancole, removed from hustle and bustle. Dinners at the hotel's restaurant were excellent.

Quiet pleasant hotel with good food. Our
room was quite basic but adequate and comfortable. Access to hotel was difficult
because of road construction requiring a
detour on a narrow steep road through the town but this will be a temporary problem.

Good food. We were able to eat dinner and breakfast outside in early May. I play tennis and was disappointed to see the site of the court was rundown and used for storage. Overall a nice hotel at a reasonable price for the area.

This being our first time in Europe, we didn't understand that Pancole was outside of San Gimignano. This was confusing to us.

Lovely, peaceful, garden setting in Pancole, a little town outside of San Gimignano. Beautiful view of the countryside just down the street and a quaint little church with some wonderful history. Hotel staff are first class in customer service. Comfortable rooms and wonderful dining experience on a lovely porch surrounded by beautiful flowers.

The room we were given the first night looked out to a village community area where the local youths played until late, when we complained about this we were immediately moved to another room at the other side of the hotel well away from any noise, this was perfect.

our room was not ready, we arrived 30 minutes after the supposed earliest arrival time, we were shown the room and then asked to wait for about 30 minutes while it was prepared for us

the room was quite small however it was clean and the balcony was large so we sat out there as we would had to sit on our beds inside the room

Comfortable, homey. We were glad to be able to connect to the internet to communicate with our daughter. The 'lobby' area was a great place to relax and meet the others. Centrally located.

Was disappointed the hotel restaurant was closed on Tuesdays and we had to go elsewhere. We were not aware this was the case as we did not see it stated in any of the advertising. It may have been possible we just missed this aspect, still, we think if a hotel has a restaurant it is reasonable to expect it to be open 7 days a week.
I do feel it is important to add that one of the reasons we were so disappointed the restaurant was closed was the fact that the food was absolutely excellent and we could not find another restaurant that could compare to the quality and standard of the chef and the waiting staff.
Finally, I would also like to add that I became unwell on my last night there and had a black out. The staff, and Mr Leonitti, were absolutely wonderful in respect to the care they showed me.

An absolutely superb place to stay where one is well looked after in all respects - wonderful food, excellent setting, lovely pool, friendly staff, lovely room. My only advice to a friend if they were to go would be to taake plenty of mosquito repellent!!!

The hotel was a perfect choice to experience Tuscany. I would highly recommend it because of location, facilities and value. The hotel is near enough to the hillside towns to enjoy dining and shopping, but far enough to ensure peace and quiet. A perfect choice!

We did not print the directions (we should have). It was not easy to find the Hotel. We called them, but the staff at the Hotel struggled to give us directions from where we were to the Hotel.

The one service that was not as expected was the Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. The Swimming pool was an outdoor pool and was not heated. The Jacuzzi was not warm. This is the ONLY issue we had at Hotel Le Renai. Everything else was OUTSTANDING.

I will absolutely recommend Hotel Le Renaie to our friends. Everything was perfectly clean. The Hotel and grounds are beautiful. The food was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel Le Renaie exceeded the expectations of everyone in our family, (myself, wife and 2 children, 3 and 7 years old).
