It was almost a lunch time when we arrived. The receptionist (Monica) was very attentive and asked if we would like to have lunch at the property, we agreed and she ordered it for us to be served at the terrace with a very nice view. We had fantastic bruschettas we recommend to anyone.

Perfect location. Incredible view. Ideal environment for the holidays, We felt as if we stayed at grandmother's house in the village. They served very good dinner.

We arrived lately and very exhausted because of the traffic situation. The staff were so friendly and nice that we forgot our stress immediately. We got a late dinner with wine and cheese and our short weekend holiday started at the very moment we arrived in Belvedere di San Leonino!

The staff were so nice to let us keep the room some time longer than 11 a.m., so that we could enjoy the relaxing pool side some more hours. It was just perfect!

They were absolutely fantastic. I accidentally booked the hotel on the wrong day so it appeared that we turned up a day late, however they were great and let us stay for the nights required without any extra charge which was very generous of them. The food was great, the service was impeccable and the hotel and scenery was faultless. I can't wait to go back !!! Many thanks to everyone who worked there we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I would thorougly reccomend this accommodation to everyone I know. Excellent position, beautiful views, very friendly, a fantastic half booard option which was reasonably priced and delicious-we wish we could have stayed longer.

I can hardly imagine a more beautiful place and lovelier hotel than the Belvedere di San Leonino. The rooms are a dream, the staff is excellent, the food honest and often delicious. It's an ideal location to plan daily trips in the heart of Tuscany!

Louisiana who was very warming - the proximity of the sites to be visited was interesting and the view at theHotel was incredible - everything was perfect - the only negative comment that I would make was when you stay as long as six days there is a lack of intimicy in the dining room where you eat very close to one another and you feel like you are dining in a cafeteria - to resume we loved our stay -

The staff treated us very well when we arrived. We had not eaten, and lunch was over, but they went out of their way to serve us a lunch on the patio. Delicious and very well appreciated.

If you want to see Tuscany, this is a great home base. The scenery has to be seen in person to appreciate it. Words and/or pictures can not fully describe this idyllic setting.

Lovely location, although remote from nearby villages so eating out at night was a drive away if you didn't eat at the hotel. However, the food was lovely at the hotel albeit that if was a fixed menu that changed daily.
The room was clean and spacious, the location quiet and picturesque. Some rooms had fanastic views over the tuscan hills, but ours was semi-subterrean, which made the room cooler in the sun, but we had no view. To be fair the hotel indicated that the room did not have a view when I booked and I accepted, so this is be no means a criticism of the hotel. We spend three days here and it was ideal to explore the chianti region and Sienna.

A lovely hotel full of old world charm in a beautiful location. The staff was wonderful in every regard. Pack light as its a somewhat long walk from the parking lot to you vehicle. Once there, you won't want to leave.

My wife and I were in France and Italy for almost a month, including seven Relais and Chateau properities. Hotel Belvedere was ideally situated for wine exploring and we were absolutely delighted with our three day stay. We got our 'best buy' of the trip from this facility and we look forward to returning next year. Our son joined us during seven days in Italy and we all sat by the pool on a beautiful, moonlite night until 11 PM. It was a lifetime experience!

This location was exactly what I was looking for. The room and accomodations were clean and spacious. The atmosphere was relaxing and the views were spectacular. They were close enough to town for convenient meals, but far enough in the country for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Hotel was great. I stayed in a few cities throughout Italy and this is the only hotel that I would recommend to someone despite the fact that the others were much more expensive. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, however, you need to rent a car to get arround. No regrets and I would go there again.

Although every one of the staff was most helpful, Christina was especially so. She arranged dinner reservations for us for each night of our stay at the beginning and was very accommodating to every request. Always with a pleasant smile and never seemed rushed.

The views are marvelous. Even though its right on a road, that didn't deter from its ambiance. But the only negative was the size of their parking lot. We never could get a parking place when we returned from dinner in the evening and had to park on the steep, narrow road outside their property.

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. The staff were both helpful and friendly.
My only negative feedback would be concerning the breakfast. We were told that breakfast was served until 10am. However when we arrived at 9:30 (twice) it was very difficult to get a table cleaned and most of the food had already been cleared away.

Most of the staff were very very helpful, but there were on or two who were very off-hand, which was a pity.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return, and the negative cooments which we may make, did not spoil our holiday. We make the comments so that the hotel can be even better.

We will certsinly return to the hotel, but the restaurant was the only part of the hotel that we felt was not very good.The meal that we had the night we arrived was quite good, but the next meal that we had two days later ws probably one of the worst meals that we have ever had! Needless to say, we eat out for the rest of our stay. This was a great pity, because the seeting fpr eating in the garden was wonderful. It wouldbe better to charge more and have some good food.

Air conditioning would improve the facility by a lot. It was very hot in our room during the day. This may be due to the design of the room, i.e., one window and a long narrow holway. Cool air from outside does not flow through the room. However, this situation may be due to an unusal warm weather we had during our stay.

The Hotel is in a very good quiet location and there was a very good atmosphere about the place. All the guests appeared to enjoy the place. The food in the restaurant was simple but very good and there was a nice choice of wines.

The reception people were not as helpful as other hotels in giving directions, helping to make reservations or giving reccomendations. At the room charge we were given i found this disappointing.

It was very pretty and the household staff, morning server, maids were extremely nice but if you booked a similar property on your own you could pay a lot less money for comparable properties.
