The panorama you will see in front of you, during your breakfast, runs from Monte Amiata, an ancient volcano, to Maremma; the panorama is the same that men saw eight under years ago: a castle, a mountain, valleys, rivers, hills and tilled plains, Tuscan colours and, on some mornings, the sea. Believe it, it's a breathtaking beauty. Situated nearly half way between Florence and Rome, Le 7 Camicie farm and vineyard is 9 km (5,6 miles) south of wonderful town of Montalcino, home of one of Tuscany and world's best wines, Brunello di Montalcino. Le 7 Camicie is inside the Val d'Orcia Natural Park, which has been declared "World Heritage" by UNESCO. |
Reserved parking and a private garden are also available for each apartment. A large common courtyard can also be freely used by our guests. All our guests have access to the shared laundry facilities and barbecue. Linen change and cleaning service is provided once a week, more often on request; are also on request available cooking services, cradles and high chairs for babies, transfers from and to airport and to particular destinations. |
Seemingly isolated, Le 7 Camicie is only 1,5 km (less than 1 mile) from the nearest hill top village where you can find a charming Trattoria, a bank, a well stocked alimentary, or grocery store and cafe-bar. Just down the road the stunning Abbazia di Sant'Antimo (VIII century), graces the valley, and there are, besides Le 7 Camicie, many vineyards where you can taste the local produce. |
There are many opportunities for sports: tennis, skiing, cross country skiing, fishing, trekking, golfing. biking, riding, ballooning, descent in cave, rafting, carting, parachuting, all within reach. A little more than 100 km (62 miles) from Florence and less than 200 km (125 miles) to Rome, Le 7 Camicie is close to many very important sites of art, history and archaeology in Italy. Inside 100 km from us you'd visit Siena, Pienza, San Gimignano, Volterra, Cortona, Arezzo, Perugia, Orvieto, Viterbo...... |
