The pool was fabulous. The restaurant at Fattoria La Torre was superb. The people were great and if I evey go back to that area I would definitely stay there again.

They actually accomodated us checking out the night before as we had an early departure.

Highlight the restaurant more, it was great. The only negative was that the air conditioning shut down between 1 and 6 am, but this seems to be normal in Europe.

There were no signs for Fattoria La Torre, I found the property with help from nice local people.

Secondary road signs are a mix up - Montecarlo being 15 km. from either Lucca and Montecatini Terme - and A11 Autostrada exits need a clear map.

Very beautiful, spacious apartment in a lovely setting. Everything was in perfect shape and well appointed. Very peaceful and close to village of Montecarlo, easy drive to Lucca.

we stayed at Fattoria La Torre for the 5th summer holiday in a row. And we are planning to go back next year (and maybe many years to come). The reason? Fattoria La Torre is just THE perfect place to spend a wonderful, calm, and culturally & gastronomically interesting holiday!

see comment above: we keep on coming back, and both my husband and me are frequent travellers for our jobs. So we know the difference between a cool standard 5* hotel and a warm and welcoming place like La Torre!

The website is a good reflection of the actual situation. Besides that, the venue does many efforts each year to replace older outside furniture like the sun beds near the swimming pool. They also provide one day (per week stay) per appartment at the coast (free parking and sun beds) and are helpful in finding alternative solutions if one day the weather is not so good (advice re visits, concerts, etc.)

We are almost afraid to talk too much about this place, with the risk that we won't be able to book our appartment again next year!

The hotel was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was superb! The only complaint I have is the air conditioning. It was very weak which led to extremely hot and uncomfortable nights. I would hope they would fix that or else install fans in the room to help. Everything else was perfect!

The directions to Fattoria La Torre when arriving to Montecarlo were not existing so we had some problem finding it.
We arrived late at night so there was no staff to welcome you but we had made other arrangements.

We were very happy with our stay. We would have preferred having the TV in the bedroom rather than in the kitchen.

I would like to comment on the restaurant, it is very good.

In my opinion is it an ideal starting point for a family with small children visiting Italy, adjusting to the climate in a very children friendly atmosphere.
