 Visit of the wine cellars with snack and wine tasting: La Selva Farm certainly began producing wine in 1491:some vineyards were probably existing before, but no mention of it has been found in the papers of that time. Our red and white wines and our Chianti d.o.c.g. are vinified observing the old Tuscan tradition; they have an exceptional longevity, an excellent structure and a round taste. They are aged in french durmast barriques or in 30 hectolitres durmast barrels, and can be tasted after a refining period of some years in bottle. |
 Western rinding lessons: We organize western riding lessons from beginner level to competitive training.

 Mountain bike and Trekking: You can go trekking or discover the surrounding landscape by mountain bike, living as if cars have never been invented (rental of mountain bikes is required).
Nature, History and Art of our land merge, according our intention, in the Glass Village , a spot in la Selva farm in which the noble glass art can be studied and put into practice. We organize courses, held by a well-known artist, in a relaxing atmosphere that favours a complete concentration; many different techniques can be learned: from the traditional to the most recent ones. Depending on the course length, the following subjects will be treated : drawing practice, colour study, painting and engraving, glass cutting and tesserae composition.
Three ponds are available for fishing in different spots of the farm , one of which especially interesting historically and naturally speaking. |
