Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating. If we returned to Lucca we would have no hestitation staying at La Romea again.

The hotel were incredibly helpful in making sure that we got into Lucca (which I now know is not easy !)

A lovely, small hotel right in the centre of Lucca. The staff are incredibly helpful, and were determined to help us get the best out of our stay in Lucca. I will definitely return !

A lovely place to stay- perfect for pottering around Lucca. The owners and Simonetta, who looked after breakfasts (which were delicious), were very welcoming and friendly and we were able to come and go as we pleased. The whole atmosphere of the place was more like someone's home than an impersonal hotel. We would love to go back.

We parked outside Lucca and one of the owners drove to meet us, conveyed us to a car park inside the city and then us and our luggage to the property. It was excellent.

The rooms would be better if they had air conditionng units. It was incredibly hot and we had to have the windows open which meant that we heard all the noise from outside. In all other respects the rooms were perfect.

A taxi was organised by the owners to collect, and return us from the airport, at a fixed price.

The owner Giulio met us in a car park and then took us to the B&B which was extremely helpful as I think we would have got lost otherwise. When we arrived in the B&B Giulio's wife Gaia had prepared us a map of the town showing all the best restaurants, bars, shops etc. This was very useful. Both Giulio and Gaia were very friendly.

The B&B was a wonderful place to stay and I would recommend it to all my friends. Rooms were decorated very tastefully, and all staff were extremely friendly. The breakfasts were also very good with plenty of variety.

Everything was done quickly and smoothly with no problems. The owner Giulio then took us in his car back to our own car so that we did not have to walk anywhere with our luggage. This was very helpful.

This was easily the best place that we stayed while we were on vacation in Italy. The owners were friendly, informative and simply wonderful. the accomodations were large, well lit, clean and extremely comfortable. We would go back in a minute.

A beautiful bed & breakfast in the heart of Lucca. Very friendly family run business with 4 spacious elegant rooms. I would strongly recommend this to others. Plentiful, delicious buffet breakfasts to set you up for a day of sightseeing.

Such a popular place and we were staying for only one night on our way back to the UK from Pisa. This meant we had teh smallest room which was pretty small and looked considerably smaller than the others (at teh same price?). Probably inevitable - and the room was fine, but the hotel was beautiful and we certainly hope to be back.

We had to leave very early so checked out teh night before. Oyr car was brought to teh hotel - thank you. Early breakfast was provided too - thank you.

No negatives - all positive, and I think all covered nicely in the literature.

Stunning - our hosts have a wonderful property and have great taste in furniture and furnishings. A wonderfully relaxed environment. La Romea is perfectly situated, a beautiful property situated perfectly in a beautiful town, and ideal for Pisa too.

Giulio and Gaia are just delightful and helpful. They made good suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Breakfast was always nicely set out.
