Profile

Completely immersed in a natural environment and surrounded by olive trees and by its own vineyards, the Fattoria la Loggia is in the heart of the Chianti Classico, 15 km south of Florence, and is placed on top of a hill from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of great beauty and fascination.

Fattoria La Loggia is made up of a village of ancient farmhouses and dates back to 1427. In the Renaissance the Fattoria la Loggia belonged formerly to the Buondelmonti and then to the Medici family, lords of Florence.

The village of the Fattoria La Loggia, arrived to us with all the taste of the centuries, is able to offer its guests a stay made of accurate services and of elegant and informal cordiality, where the magic atmosphere from the past fuses with the warmth of the Tuscan rural tradition.

Hospitality and smiles: this is the motto of the whole staff of the Fattoria La Loggia, you will always find us at your complete disposal, efficient and smiling, to make your stay unforgettable.

Founded several years ago by Giulio Baruffaldi, La Loggia Art Centre has the aim to promote the contemporary arts and wants above all to be a place where art comes to existence and is created: therefore a thought workshop and a creativity laboratory La Loggia Art Centre's activities have as their object all the expressions of the contemporary visual arts: painting, sculpture, videoart and photography.

In the outdoor spaces and in the most charming scenes of the farm has been organized a permanent exhibition of sculptures and installations by some of the greatest contemporary artists. The permanent collection of contemporary painting, exposed on rotation in the exhibition hall made from the ancient lemon-house of the farm, includes works by italian and foreign contemporary masters.
