"La Fornace B&B" is located in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, a small typical Tuscan village, 30 km south of Florence direction Siena. It is up on a hill overlooking the beautiful Chianti Classico countryside. From here you can reach the villages of Greve in Chainti, Gaiole and Castellina. Florence is half an hour from the property and Siena is about 45 minutes driving from here. |

By Car: From Highway A1 exit at "Firenze Certosa" and take the motorway "Firenze-Siena". After about 30 km exit at "Tavarnelle Val di Pesa" and turn left towards the town centre. At the beginning of the town you should turn right following signs to "Incoop". Follow the road until you reach a big ring road that passes nearby the village. The B&B is located after the crossroads on your right hand side, and right in front of the "Incoop" supermarket.
By Train: From the Firenze S.M.N. Railway Station exit from its right side and go to Sita bus station (80 mt from station) to take a bus to Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. Journey is about 45/50 minutes.
From Pisa airport by car: take the FI-PI-LI motorway towards Florence and exit at "Ginestra Fiorentina". Proceed in direction to "Montespertoli" and from there towards Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. |
