Relais La Commenda is owned and run by Ms. Barboni. This ancient monastery was founded by the Camaldolesi monks around the XI century as indicated by the age of central tower round which the residence has been built over the years. |
The villa is immersed in a beautiful park of trees that are centuries old, here we also find the three country houses, the swimming pool, and the ancient well, now restored to its former state. The central building and its two wings are dated back to 1600. |
 Relais La Commenda is immersed in a atmosphere of rare splendour, elegant and prestigious but at the same time uncomplicated; here you can enjoy the traditions and hospitality of times gone by. |
 The villa is divided into two suites and two junior suites all furnished with antique and Tuscan crafted furnitures, precious fabrics wrought iron lamps, "terracotta", woodwork, stone, and exposed beam ceilings. |
A large sitting room with a fireplace that is dated to 1600 and the geranium terrace, from where you can enjoy the marvellous sunsets, are both at our guests' disposal. |
