We arrived at the property at 7.40pm and the Milena who looks after the property was there to welcome us and to provide any information we should require which was a great way to begin our stay.

we were very fortunate to be the only people staying at the property for the week we were there. Therefore, we had the property pretty much to ourselves and we could not have had a better experience of Tuscany. The owners of the property and Milena who looks after the property were unbelievably hospitable and welcoming. It was perfect!!

That it is only a 10 minute drive to the railway station and then only 20 minutes on an express train to Florence.

If you don't want the hustle and bustle of Florence and you would like to experience the true Tuscany at a reasonable cost then La Casa Vechia is the perfect accomodation for you. I would mention that with a car you can see so much more of Tuscany and it is only 30-35 minutes door - Florence railway station.

It was a lovely experience staying at La Casa Vecchia. Owner Adriano was there to greet us upon our arrival although we were 2 hours late! He even offered us food which we declined, but poured us each a lovely Tuscan red wine. We felt so welcomed.

Simply a lovely place to stay, especially family with kids. La Casa Vecchia was like our home away from home. WE felt so comfortable and relaxed every day that we were there. Adriano and Silvia were fantastic with our children and we would certainly stay there again on our next trip.

It is family friendly and offers one of the most breathtaking views of the area from poolside.
Owners really go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Yes without doubt. We were recomended by our daughter who stayed in 2006 and we will go back again. It was so peaceful

It was very enjoyable. We liked the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The accomodations were comfortable. The kitchen facilities were a real treat as we could make some of our own meals.

We would recommend it to friends who are looking for this kind of experience.
