 Here at the farm, you can buy olive oil, which we have produced, seasonal vegetables, meat and poultry, such as chickens, rabbits, ducks and pigeons. Once/twice a week we also organize a dinner to entertain our guests and spend some time with them. In our large garden you can find private areas with tables and chairs to have your meals during the day or enjoy a coffee break while admiring the beautiful valley. |
 We also arrange service such as laundry, baby-sitting and - for those who enjoy some sport activities - we offer table tennis and mountain-bike rental to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. We provide trekking and biking itineraries; there is also the opportunity to make reservations for guided tours in the neighbourhood to absorb the local atmosphere. |
 At the Reception you can find as well telephone and Internet connection. All pets are accepted, and we have outside areas where you can play with them in freedom. Guests also may use the large swimming pool, located in the middle of the valley, and we have a barbecue for those who want to try the local "chianina", the typical Tuscan meat. |

 Between Figline Valdarno (7 km) and Greve in Chianti (10 km), you will find restaurants, wineries, supermarkets and all kinds of shopping and personal care facilities, such as beauty centre and hairdresser salon. A little farther away (20 km, in Leccio, direction of Pontassieve), there are a number of outlet stores which offer designer fashions at cut-rate prices, wedfuring names like Gucci, Armani, Prada and Dolce & Gabbana. The nearest grocery store is in the village of Ponte agli Stolli, only 1.5 km from the property, whose origins date from the 13th century. A few km from "Casavecchia" you also find a horse-riding centre (3km), canoeing (15km) and tennis courts (7km). Figline was born in the second half of the 13th century, however there was a former castle in the nearby hills owned by the Ulbertini from Gaville. The fortified centre was so important that in 1175 it became the new site of Fiesole Dioceses. |
 In 1198 Figline submitted under Florence's protection, but was never faithful, and in the last rebellion of 1252, when the Ghibellini fled from Florence and were welcome into the castle, Florence attacked them and made the inhabitants leave. They moved in the plan below, near the river, where there they had developed the "market place". The new village remained without any protection until 1356, when Florence decided to build a defensive wall to "save" the trade centre. The walls were finished in 1379. Since that period, no other main events are so important to be mentioned, except the rebellion to the French Dominion in 1799. |
