Coming By Car from North:
From the Highways A1 Milano-Napoli, take exit Firenze Certosa and take the road towards Siena. After 20 km exit at San Donato in Poggio and follow then the road directions towards Castellina in Chianti. When you arrive at Castellina in Chianti turn left, towards Greve in Chianti. A few metres after the junction to Radda, you will see the sign Locanda La Capannuccia. Follow for another 300 metres and at Pietrafitta turn right. Follow the road framed with cypresses and turn at the first road right again. Follow the signs until you arrive at Locanda La Capannuccia 1,2 km.
Coming By Car from South:
From the Highways A1 Milano-Napoli, take exit Firenze Sud, than take the SR 222 Chiantigiana towards Greve in Chianti. Once arrived in Greve follow to Castellina del Chianti. A few kilometres before you arrive at Castellina in Chianti, at Pietrafitta, turn left. Follow for another 300 metres and at Pietrafitta turn right. Follow the road framed with cypresses and turn at the first road right again. Follow the signs until you arrive at Locanda La Capannuccia 1,2 km.
Coming By Car from Siena:
From Siena take the free motorway Autopalio direction Florence and exit at Monteriggioni, turn right and continue direction Castellina Scalo on the Cassia road SS2. After Castellina Scalo, on the right you will find the cross-road to Castellina in Chianti (12 km). Once arrived at Castellina in Chianti follow the direction to Greve in Chianti SR 222 until you'll find Restaurant Pietrafitta on the right side. Turn half right and follow uphill a cypress lined country road, on the top of this road, you'll find a little "Madonna statue" where you keep to your right and follow this road for km 1,2 downhill until you'll reach the Locanda La Capannuccia. |
