To reach the Sognaia from the city center of Castelfiorentino is simple.
From the railway station
Continue for 300 mt, in direction of Certaldo, therefore,turn to the right and cross the bridge on the river Hilt; then continue along Avenue Roosevelt (direction of the stadium), at the end, turn to the left and to cross the street until Fratellli Bandiera intersection. Then turn to the right, to pass the bridge and to continue along street Praticelli(direction St. Miniato-Pisa). After 1,5 km about, follow the ridge of the hill. Here, instead of going along the asphalted road, cross the excavated road that you will find on the right for about 500 mt. Welcome to the Sognaia.
From Florence
Take the highway Fi-Pi-Li in direction of Pisa and follow it long for 30 km until the exit of west Empoli.From there,follow the indications for Castelfiorentino.
From Siena
Take the motorway Siena - Florence on direction of A1 and follow it lfor about 20 km untilto the exit Poggibonsi. From there, follow the indications forCertaldo and subsequently Castelfiorentino.
From Pisa Airport
Take the speedway Fi-Pi-Li in direction Florence and follow it for 40 km until the exit of west Empoli.From there, follow the indications to Castelfiorentino. |
