By car:
To reach us from Florence airport get onto the A1 directions Rome and exit at Certosa. After the haihgway exit follow the signs for Siena. Exit from the motorway at Poggibonsi Nord. Follow the signs for San Gimignano.
- From Pisa airport go in the direction of Florence / Empoli and then follow the signs to Empoli.Exit at Empoli Est. Follow the signs for San Gimignano and Certaldo. At Certaldo follow the signs for San Gimignano. Just out of Certaldo you will cross a bridge and the road veers to the left to San Gimignano. Go towards San Gimignano and after 300 metres you will see an ERG petrol station on your right and a road up the hill to Pancole and Villa del Monte. Follow this road for two and a half km into the countryside and you will enter a long avenue of cypress trees. La Fonte is the first house on the right after the begining of the avenue.
- From San Gimignano follow the signs to Certaldo and continue and do not leave the state road for 13 km. Before you enter Certaldo there is an ERG petrol station on the left and signs for Villa del Monte and Pancole. Turn left here and continue up the hill into the countryside for two and a half km. You will enter a long avenue of cypress trees and La Fonte is the first house on the right after the begining of the avenue.
By train:
The nearest tran station is Certaldo, 3 km far. From there we suggest you to take a taxi. As the property is not easy to reach by public transports it would be better to rent a car at the airport or in the main towns. |
