 Right in the historical centre of San Quirico d`Orcia, La Dimora del Poeta - which can be translated as "The poet`s dwelling"- is a charming accommodation that works within a structure from the 14th century. As a matter of fact, this construction was established in the same days that the village was actually born in the Val d`Orcia valley. This spot in the heart of Tuscany is pretty close to important cities like Rome (2 hours away), Siena and Arezzo (1 hour) and Florence (1 hour and a half). |
 You will enjoy a convenient location close to the main attractions in San Quirico: the bed & breakfast is actually on the main street, at walking distance from the Grancia fortified castle and near the many churches that have made this destiny so famous among lovers of architecture and history: the Collegiata di San Quirico and romanic San Biagio a Vignoni are just some of them. La Dimora del Poeta was inaugurated in 2000 after a complete renovation: the rooms are delightful, with a romantic inspiration that has a lot to do with the name of the property: choose between Girasole, Papavero, Glicine and Margherita, each of them with a prevailing colour that identifies it. |
